What is an NFT?

An NFT (non-fungible token) is a unique record on a blockchain, identified by the address of the contract that issued it and a token ID. The record says which wallet owns it and points to metadata — a name, description, image, and attributes — that is usually hosted elsewhere.

Owning an NFT means controlling the wallet that holds it. What else you get — artwork licence, access, rewards — depends entirely on what the collection's creator has promised and delivered. On Unvault, NFTs can also be vaulted to other chains and can earn DIVIT rewards when their collection enables it.
