How do I set creator earnings?
Unvault pays creator earnings on every sale settled through the marketplace, for every collection, whether or not the collection enforces them on-chain — at the rate you have published (on-chain registry, ERC-2981, or set in the Services). If you want enforcement that follows your items to other venues as well, configure it on-chain:
- Open Manage → Royalties for your collection.
- Add one or more recipients and percentages (for example, a creator wallet and a treasury), and optionally route a share to the collection's DIVIT pool.
- Sign the configuration. It is written to the on-chain royalty registry for that chain.
Every sale settled through the protocol contracts applies the split automatically. Launchpad collections also use a transfer validator that limits transfers to approved operators, so trades on venues that ignore royalties are blocked. When items are vaulted to another chain, the configuration travels with them.
You can change the split later; the change applies to future trades. Splits are signed on-chain after deploy, not during the create flow.
