Can I list an item while it is vaulted?

When you vault an item, the original is locked in the vault contract on its origin chain and the canonical, active instance lives on the destination chain. Only that active instance can be listed, sold, or transferred. The locked original cannot be moved until the item is unvaulted back to its origin chain.

Your profile shows both sides: Ownership (the token ID you own) and Custody (the chain where the active instance currently sits). List from the chain shown under Custody. Buyers receive the active instance and may later unvault it themselves.
